AND FINALLY….

Danny Kennedy (UUP, Newry & Armagh) took the opportunity during questions on dog licensing to assure the House that he hasn’t been ‘neutered’ – and I don’t think he was commenting on freedom of speech.  More concerning, apart from asserting his virility, Mr. Kennedy has also put his two West Highland Terriers on notice that they’ll be for the chop if the financial situation doesn’t improve.  I know that the UUP’s new Tory partners believe the public finances are a dog’s dinner, but is this what George Osborne really has in mind?  Dog lovers beware!
