A-level students Jenna Strain and Ruth Reid will be hoping to be one of the 100 lucky winners of Ryanair’s student free flight giveaway

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, has announced details of a spectacular flight giveaway in Bangor and Belfast to celebrate A-level results day on Thursday 20 August.

The Ryanair team will be giving away free flights to A-level students that have gained university or college places in any of its five destinations from George Best Belfast City Airport – Liverpool, London Stansted, East Midlands, Bristol or Glasgow Prestwick.

The first 100 students to present their A-level results slip and letter of offer to the Ryanair team in Main Street, Bangor, at 11:00am or outside the Europa Hotel, Belfast, at 14:00 next Thursday will win free flight tickets to university.

Speaking today, Ryanair’s Laura McCormack said:

“University can be an expensive time for students and their parents, but with Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares from Belfast City, air travel is always affordable with Ryanair. Our lowest fares guaranteed means that parents and students can fly home or visit at the cheapest fares available.

“If you’re going to a university or college in Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Bristol or the East Midlands come along and meet the Ryanair team in Bangor or Belfast.

“You don’t have to be a student to win tickets next Thursday – if you turn up at either venue and tell the Ryanair team what you are willing to do for a free flight you could win one on the spot!”

“If you can’t attend next Thursday don’t worry – the lowest fares are always available at for booking on www.ryanair.com.”
