Little Wing Pizzeria is giving local charities and community groups the opportunity to organise fundraising events during its pre-launch week from Monday 26th April until Friday 30th April. Little Wing, which opened on Ann Street earlier this year, will open its newest Lisburn Road restaurant to the public on Monday 3rd May.
The pizzeria will be opening its doors to local charities, community groups and sports clubs who want to hold fundraising events at breakfast time, lunch time and dinner time during the week of the pre-launch, where food will be provided free of charge.
Conall Wolsey, Managing Director of Little Wing Pizzeria, said:
“We felt it was important to appeal to charities, community groups and sports clubs from the local area and give them the opportunity to undertake some worthwhile fundraising activity, while at the same time getting a chance to sample some of our pizzas. As we are providing the pizza for free it means that all proceeds raised can go straight to the local charities or community groups.
“From our point of view as well as giving something back to the local community it allows us to ensure everything in the restaurant is running smoothly ahead of our official opening on Monday, 3rd May. We look forward to hearing from local charities, community groups and sports clubs interested in organising fundraising activities during the pre-launch week.”
Organisations from the Lisburn Road area, who would like to request a slot during the pre-launch week should complete a postcard with their name and registered charity number (if relevant) and say in less than 50 words why their organisation should be allocated a slot for a fundraising event during the week of the pre-launch. Entries should be returned to Eleanor Anderson c/o Stakeholder Communications, The Newsroom, Fountain Centre, Belfast BT1 6ET by Friday, 16th April.
Little Wing is a traditional style Italian pizzeria producing healthy pizzas with fresh ingredients. The Lisburn Road restaurant will seat 42 people. Little Wing will open its next restaurant in Ballyhackamore at the end of May and has ambitious plans to roll out restaurants across the island over the next few years.
