The local business community was delighted yesterday when Carlo Ancelotti made a brief appearance in Belfast’s local sports shop S.S. Moore.  

The Chelsea Manager, who had a rare week off out of his busy schedule, was in Ireland visiting friends.  During his visit he popped into S.S. Moore to meet one of his long time friends, John Moore.  To the delight of the many Chelsea fans, Carlo was only too happy to sign autographs and chat about his strategy for wining this years Premier League.

Carlo said “I love coming to Belfast and always find the local people friendly and welcoming.  It is great to see so many Chelsea fans come out to S.S. Moore’s and show their support for the club”.

Jonathan Moore from S.S. Moore said “My Dad met Carlo many years ago through our sports shops connections.  He made a promise that he would come to Belfast to meet some of Northern Ireland’s devoted Chelsea fans, hopefully next year he will come with some silverware”.
